Kanchenjunga Darshan

"Kanchenjunga is one of the world's most huge and stunning mountains ranges".

Kanchenjunga appears to be a mighty upheaval of snow and ice from the main Himalayan Range. The dazzling whiteness of snows coupled with distance ruins the perception of relative proximity and inaccessibility.

Kanchenjunga as it appears from Darjeeling is not a calm and silent mountain. The ice and rock avalanches, wind hurricanes of incredible dimensions frequently thunder as they roll down precipitous slopes.
